Sean Tyler is a muralist and interdisciplinary craft artist based in Tulsa Oklahoma. Tyler completed her BFA at Rogers State University and MA and MFA in painting and drawing at the University of Iowa. Tyler also completed a secondary concentration in printmaking and a graduate certificate at the University of Iowa Center for the Book. Tyler has shown work at fine craft galleries such as 108 Contemporary in Tulsa, museums including the Figge in Davenport Iowa, and university galleries. Tyler has also shown in New York, Washington, Tennessee, and California. Tyler has had work featured in So to Speak journal, Fiber Arts Now magazine, and the Tulsa Review. Tyler has murals focusing on native flora and fauna installed around Iowa in Clinton, Waterloo, and Manchester, along with Edmond Oklahoma. Her ongoing work focuses on natural dyes, native plants, and combining fiber and book arts. She currently teaches at Rogers State University and Tulsa Community College
